ACCESS BY APPOINTMENT TO THE SACRAMENTO COUNTY ASSESSOR'S OFFICE BEGINS JUNE 1, 2020

SACRAMENTO, CA ---On May 21, 2020, Sacramento County announced a directive to reopen Sacramento County public offices on a limited basis after almost 2 months of COVID-19 office closures. On June 1, 2020, the Assessor's Office will begin reopening on an appointment only basis.  

To request an in person appointment, email the request to assessor@saccounty.net or call (916) 875-0700 and leave a message. Please include name, property address or ​parcel number, reason for appointment and contact information.  Staff will respond with appointment availability within 1 business day.

For Businesses Submitting Business Personal Property Filings – SDR/eSDR services will continue for businesses. If e-filing is not an option, you can also file by mail or fax at (916) 875-0735. ​Remember to sign and return the notice. The final filing date without a penalty has been changed to June 1st.

For Entities Submitting Exemptions or Exclusion Applications - you may mail us your applications; however, there may be delays in processing. Exemptions Forms List.   

Online property tax bill information - visit the Tax Collector's site at www.eproptax.saccounty.net.

Parcel Information – will continue at Assessor Parcel Viewer.  Email us at assessor@saccounty.net with questions.

Pending Assessment Appeals – this function is managed by the Assessment Appeals Board.  Please visit their website at Assessment Appeals Board for more information.
