 OUR PUBLIC COUNTER WILL REMAIN OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.


SACRAMENTO, CA ---On May 21, 2020, Sacramento County announced a directive to reopen Sacramento County public offices on a limited basis after almost 2 months of COVID-19 office closures. On June 1, 2020, the Assessor's Office began reopening on an appointment only basis.  

On September 28, 2020, the call center reopened during normal business hours; however, physical access is still by appointment only.

​To request an in person appointment, email the request to assessor@saccounty.net​ or call (916) 875-0700.  Please be prepared to give your name, property address or parcel number, reason for appointment and contact information.  Staff will respond with appointment availability within one business day.

For Businesses  - Unsecured bills have been mailed.  If you have a question regarding the assessed value, please e-mail PPDutyApr@SacCounty.net​.  Phone messages can be left on the numbers identified on the bill.  Responses to phone messages could take up to 24 hours depending on the volume of call activity.  Please include the parcel number and account information of the account you are questioning when sending in a request.
